Our Process.

Step 1. Discovery and Ballpark Estimate

Every great project starts with a conversation. We take time to learn what you are hoping to create, what is not working today, and what success looks like for you.

Shortly after our initial Discovery conversation, you will receive a ballpark estimate and a high-level scope so you know early whether the project fits your budget. If you are comfortable with the ballpark, you will sign a simple Design Agreement and provide a $2,500 deposit that is fully applied to your final contract price.

Why this step matters: It removes surprises later and ensures your investment is protected from the start.

Step 2: Design, Selections, and Scope Development

This is where your ideas become a clear plan. We work with you (and a designer or drafter, if needed) to refine the layout, finishes, and functionality of your space.

Then we create a detailed scope of work and send it to our trusted trade partners for bids. We also value engineer the project to help you get the best possible result without unnecessary cost.

Why this step matters: You get full transparency and clarity before committing to the full build.

Step 3: Detailed Estimate, Contract, and Down Payment

Once trade bids are in and the scope is finalized, you receive a transparent, line-by-line estimate with clear allowances for flooring, cabinets, countertops, fixtures, lighting, and other selections.

When you are ready, we package everything into a contract that includes timelines, jobsite expectations, allowances, and your payment schedule.

A 15% down payment (minus your design deposit) locks in your bids and allows to order materials.

Why this step matters: You will know exactly what is included, what it costs, and why…before any work begins.

Step 4: Construction + Communication

This is where your space begins to take shape. Construction can be dusty and loud, but we keep everything organized, clean, and moving forward.

You receive:

  • Consistent text updates throughout the week

  • A Monday morning look-ahead so you always know what is happening

  • Written documentation for any change requests

We also complete ongoing quality control checks to ensure the work meets our standards for craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Why this step matters: Remodeling should not leave you in the dark. You will always know exactly where your project stands.

Step 5: Walkthrough, Completion, and Warranty

As we near the finish line, we complete a full walkthrough together. You point out anything that needs attention, and we take care of it. After the final clean, the space is your all yours to enjoy!

Your project includes a one-year workmanship warranty. If something goes wrong due to installation, we will fix it at no cost. You will also receive a 30-day follow-up walkthrough to ensure you are fully satisfied.
