Our Process.

  • Initial consultation

    1. Initial Consult

    We’ll start with an in-home consult to see your current space and understand your goals, timeline, and budget. During this visit, we are trying to learn about you and determine whether we are the right fit for your project.

  • 2. Ballpark Estimate

    Before we ask for a commitment, we will provide a rough price range based on your goals and scope. This helps you make an informed decision about moving forward with planning. While this will not be your final price, it will at least give you an idea of your expected budget.

  • 3. Design & Planning Retainer

    When you are ready to move forward, we will collect a $2,000 - $3,000 retainer to cover design and pre-construction planning.

    The retainer includes:

    - Design or drafting (professionally outsourced as needed)

    - Full site visit and measurements

    - Trade walkthroughs for detailed quotes (if needed)

    - A personalized scope of work and selections list

  • 4. Detailed Proposal + Contract

    With designs in hand and input from our trade partners, we will present a detailed contract and proposal that includes:

    - A fixed price for the work

    - Clear payment schedule

    - Realistic project timeline

    - Materials, allowances, and exclusions

    We will walk through each term of our contract so you understand exactly what to expect with our relationship together. Bottom line: there should never be a hidden surprise.

  • 5. Pre-Construction Kickoff

    Once the contract is signed, we file permits, schedule the project, and prepare for demo or foundation.

    During this phase we order long-lead materials, you finalize selections, and we set a clear communication plan.

  • 6. Build and Execute

    Together with our subcontractors, we bring the vision to life, prioritizing your home and routine.

    You can expect:

    - Daily/weekly project updates, based on your preference

    - Transparent problem solving if issues arise (Murphy’s Law always has a tendency to strike)

    - A focus on cleanliness, timelines, and quality craftsmanship

    We never want to be the contractor that leaves you in the dark on the status of your project. We aim to keep you informed every step of the way.

  • 7. Final Walkthrough + Wrap

    We’ll walk through the finished space with you to ensure everything meets both our standards and yours. If there is anything that needs attention, we will handle it immediately.

    From there, it is time to celebrate your space!
